PROGRAM OVERVIEW

The Bachelor in Pharmacy (B. Pharm) program is a comprehensive four-year course that offers an in-depth study of pharmaceutical sciences. It integrates theoretical knowledge with practical application, preparing students to meet the challenges of the pharmacy profession and the healthcare industry.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Eligibility Criteria for Bachelor in Pharmacy (B. Pharm)

For First-Year Admission:

Karnataka State Candidature Candidates:

  • Must be Indian Nationals.
  • Should have passed the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) or equivalent examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects, along with Mathematics or Biology.
  • Must have secured at least 45% marks (40% for candidates from Backward Class categories, Economically Weaker Sections belonging to Karnataka State) in the above subjects taken together.

All India Candidature Candidates:
• Must meet the same academic qualifications as Karnataka State candidates.

  • NRI / OCI / PIO, Children of Indian Workers in Gulf Countries, Foreign Nationals:

    • Should have passed the HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with Mathematics or Biology.
    • Must have at least 45% marks in the above subjects taken together.
    • Must meet any other criteria declared from time to time by the appropriate authority as defined under the Act.

For Lateral Entry into the Second Year (For Diploma Holders):

  • For Karnataka State Candidature and All India Candidature Candidates:
  • Must be an Indian National.
  • Should have passed a Diploma Course in Pharmacy from an institution approved by the All India Council for Technical Education or the Pharmacy Council of India or Central or State Government.
  • Must have at least 45% marks.
